Rodgers Discussion Group Work

Rodger talks a lot about revision, in high school he wrote about a lot of things that he did not really care about. His meaning of revision in high school did not mean much to him till he started caring about things he liked to write about. He wanted the freedom of writing.

He also brings up a lot of his earlier writing process. It changes because when he was younger he knew how to write but what the teacher wanted was something he didn’t do. She wanted straight facts about what they were writing about. The way he wrote it was different to what she wanted, he had his own style. He got a C on his paper he ended up saying C stands for creative because he added extra information to his writing, not just what his teacher wanted. It changes when he is in college because when…
